How If Anything Happens I Love You made me Cry in Under 12 Minutes

This film almost broke me.

I say almost, well, because I didn’t cry a ton — But I still cried nevertheless. I have never in my whole life, as long as I can remember, been put emotionally, impactfully, by a short film. I don’t even watch many short films anymore..

For those of you who had the sheer will to comment under Google Reviews, and yes, I will insult your opinions: “The art style was too simple, too messy” or “I already knew what was gonna happen”.. Hello. Have any of you come to realize the actual message in the story or 不? (that’s no in Chinese btw)

Because I got a heartbreaking situation who toar this family apart (hope i didn’t get this from somewhere), that made their heads relive those couple of moments before their daughter’s passing. The harsh reality of losing someone you love and having the strength, finding it enough, to let go. That’s one of most painful experiences no one should ever have to go through.

4 stars. Maybe some of you will call it “bad taste” or not “well reviewable”. Guys, this was a short film. I think it deserves so much more.
